Follow-up re: TECHNICAL SUPPORT REQUEST NUMBER: 8024

I would like to provide an update on my Tech Support Request 8024, which I submitted yesterday...  I eventually did a master reset of the unit and then reloaded everything and the OEM security system issue disappeared.  So you can disregard that question.  However, I still have a question re: the Parking Light1 function for this unit on a 2016 Highlander Limited (with auto headlights and LED DRLs).  When I remote start the vehicle with the headlight switch in the "auto" position, the parking lights do not stay on after the vehicle starts, nor do the headslights, etc.  The parking lights do stay on when the headlight switch is on the "off" position though.  Is there an easy way to make the parking lights come on and stay on when remote starting this vehicle with the headlight switch is in the "auto" position, since the driver of this vehicle typically leaves the switch in that position?  Just a reminder - as I reported in my initial posting, the way the current install guide shows the Parking Light1 hook-up actually prevents the vehicle's auto headlight function from working at all.  This might be unique to the Limited Platinum model, since I believe is it the only Highlander that has the "auto" headlight and LED DRL option.

2014-16 Toyota Highlander Push-to-start (non-hybrid) Wirecolor chart issues

I paid for (Sales Order Number: 5789) and downloaded the Wirecolor chart for my 2016 Toyota Highlander Push-to-Start (non-hybrid). And the pin labels in the pictures do not match the pin numbers listed in the function listing, so it is very hard to follow. Can you please correct them and send me an updated version, since my access to this chart will disappear in 48 hours? Thank you!. Sean ONeill email - Sean@TheIrishBohemian.com

2014 Mazda CX-5 Automatic - EVO-MAZT1 versus EVO-ONE plus THAR-MAZ1

I want to install a remote start solution in a 2014 Mazda CX-5 automatic. What is the advantage of installing an EVO-ONE with a THAR-MAZ1 harness, versus goning the the EVO-MAZT1 (EVO-ALL based) solution? FYI... Your web site product info seems to be inconsistent when I compare these 2 solutions for the CX-5. In the :Adavanced Features" section of the comparison matrix, it shows EVO-MAZT1 with "Standalone Remote Start" as "yes" but the EVO-ONE as "N/A". And in the "Remote Starters" section further below, it says the exact opposite. Thanks! Sean

OEM alarm challenges - EVO -ONE on 2010 Audi S5

I have an EVO-ONE installed in my 2010 Audi S5. I am using it as an alarm and a remote-start w/ bypass. Most everything works fine. However, when we open a door via the exterior door handle, while having the OEM remote/proximity unit on our person, the alarm sounds when we open the door. But, if we disarm the system using a remote control before opening the door, the alarm of course does not go off. Is there a setting in the EVO-ONE that we need to change in order for the alarm to turn-off when we use the OEM function of unlocking and disarming by pulling the door handle while the OEM remote on our person? Or is this not possible? Thank you, Sean

Can I use a dual stage proximity sensor with the EVO ONE?

I have an EVO ONE installed in my 2010 Audi S5 and have successfully used it as a remote start and an alarm for some time now. SInce it is a convertible, I decided I would like to add a proximity sensor. I purchased an Omega AU-94TM dual zone radar sensor. I have hooked up the 12V and the ground to the 3-pin connector on the EVO ONE. And I have hooked up the external trigger to the middle wire on the EVO ONE 3-pin connector. However, I can't seem to the proximity sensor to trigger the EVO ONE alarm even with the settings on the sensor set to maximum sensitivity. Do I need to hook both the internal and external proximity sensors up to the EVO ONE 3-pin middle wire (with diodes to prevent feedback) for the dual stage sensor ro trigger an alarm?
